CARIBBEAN AND BERMUDA

For over 20 years, I have been cruising the Caribbean waters primarily in the winter months when many people migrate like the birds to a tropical paradise to escape the harsh climate in more northern latitudes. — This gallery represents images from Bermuda in the Mid-Atlantic and the chain of islands running from the Virgin Islands through the leeward and windward Islands and to Curaçao, including a broad spectrum of topics such as native wildlife, beaches, forests, mountains and stunning tropical bays and anchorages, and sailing yachts enjoying the ever-reliable trade winds.

Cruising through this region meant many seasons spent moving between islands both well-known and rarely visited, each with its own rhythm, culture, and tropical scenery. Lush, mountainous landscapes give way to calm, coconut palm-lined anchorages and charming seaside towns. Every port of call added another layer to the story of this remarkable part of the world.

This collection is a record of that journey — a reminder of just how much beauty and variety exists within a single stretch of sea.
