THE LUCKY LEOPARD

The luck of this capture was mine. In a very rare moment, as I focused on this skittish leopard, the camera jammed and locked up. After about 5 seconds, I managed to power cycle and reset the composition. I took a single image before, but it disappeared in a flash. A leopard in a tree was the number-one image on my list for this safari. With good fortune and speedy camera instincts, I captured this unforgettable moment. Photo © copyright by Brad Baker.
