Welcome to the site, and thank you for stopping by.For the past twenty years, since I bought my first DSLR camera, I've been chasing visual moments across land and sea.  This site is where all of that comes together: two decades of travel, patience, and a persistent eye out for moments worth freezing in time.   There are no images here taken before 2012.  Those early years were spent learning, discovering, and capturing poor-quality imagery.  These earlier images are for myself to keep and to judge for my own amusement. You'll find the galleries organized by theme and location, with much of the content following my career as a yacht Captain and the unique and wonderful locations it's taken me to.  The places I have traveled outside of work time were chosen deliberately due to their stunning visual and cultural appeal.  The more locations I visit, the longer my bucket list gets.  The opportunities are endless, and I try to choose each new adventure wisely.Every image here is available as a fine art print, offered in a range of styles and sizes and produced using the best archival print mediums available today. My goal is for these prints to hold up not just visually, but for generations — the same way the landscapes themselves have endured long before any of us arrived to photograph them.This is only the beginning. New travels mean new images, and new images mean new stories — so this blog will grow alongside the galleries, with posts on recent trips, the thinking behind specific photographs, and the occasional lesson learned the hard way, with hopefully a bit of anecdotal humor thrown in.
